  1. From the menu bar on the web browser, open "Edit" > "Default" > "Web browser" > "Security zones".
  2. Set "Medium (More secure)" at "Security zones".

[Macintosh OS10.x] Internet Explorer 5.2x

  1. From the menu bar on the web browser, start up "Explorer", and select "Preferences" > "Web browser" > "Security zones".
  2. Set "Medium (More secure)" at "Security zones".

[Macintosh OS10.x] Firefox 2.0/1.5

  1. Start up "Firefox", select "Preferences", and click "Advanced".
  2. Click on the "Coding" tab, and select the "Use SSL3.0" and "Use TLS1.0" checkboxes. Close the "Content" window.

[Macintosh OS10.x] Safari 1.2/2.0

  1. Start up "Safari", select "Preferences", and click "Advanced".
  2. Click the "Change settings" button at "Proxies" in the "Advanced" screen.
  3. The "Proxy" screen in "Network" in the OS's "System preferences" will open up. Select the "Secure web proxy (HTTPS)" checkbox.
  4. Click "Apply" at the bottom to close the window.

[Windows OS] Internet Explorer (7.x,6.x)

  1. if you cannot see the menu bar, click "Alt" and select "Tools" > "Internet options" > "Advanced" at "Security".
  2. Confirm that the "Use SSL2.0" and "Use SSL3.0" checkboxes are selected. If they are not, select them and click "OK".

[Windows OS] Firefox 2.0/1.5

  1. Select "Tools" > "Options", and click "Advanced".
  2. Click on the "Encryption" tab, and select the "Use SSL3.0" and "Use TLS1.0" checkboxes. Click "OK".

Setting Cookies

The GRAPHIC online printing website keeps some information in files called "cookies", which are generated and kept on your hard disk drive. If you do not use the cookies feature, be sure to set use of cookies as follows.

  1. Select "Edit" > "Default".

  5. Select the "Custom" checkbox, and click "Settings".
  6. Select "Scripting" > "Run scripts" > "Enable" in the "Internet zone" window.

[Macintosh OS10.x] Internet Explorer 5.2x

  1. Start up Internet Explorer, and select "Tools" > "Internet options" on the menu bar.
  2. Click the "Internet options" tab, and select "Privacy" >
  3. "Settings" > "Advanced settings".
  4. Select the "Override automatic cookie handling" checkbox at "Cookies" on the "Advanced privacy settings" sub-window.
  5. Select the "Accept" radio button at "First-party cookies" or "Third-party cookies".
  6. Click the "Security" tab on the "Internet options" window.
  7. Confirm that "Internet" is selected at "Web content zone", and click "Custom level".
  8. Set "Scripting" > "Active scripting" on the "Security settings" window, and select the "Enable" radio button.

[Macintosh OS] Safari 1.2/2.0

  1. Start up "Safari", select "Preferences", and click the "Security" tab.
  2. Select the "Only from sites I visit" checkbox at the "Accept cookies" field, and close the screen.

[Macintosh OS] Firefox 2.0/1.5

  1. Select "Firefox" > "Preferences", and click the "Privacy" tab.
  2. Select the "Allow sites to set cookies" checkbox at "Cookies" to close the "Content" window.

[Windows OS] Internet Explorer(7.x,6.x)

  1. If you cannot see the menu bar, click "Alt" and select "Tools" > "Internet options" > "Privacy", and click "Advanced".
  2. Select the "Override automatic cookie handling" checkbox at "Cookies".
  3. Select "Accept" at "First-party cookies" or "Third-party cookies", and click "OK".
